Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have lots of energy, curiosity, and interests! As a nanny, I have endless ideas for activities to keep kids entertained, active, off screens, and sparking learning and wonder.
I'm very physically fit and love active pursuits. I'm an avid yogi, golfer, skier, and swimmer. I enjoy ice-skating, roller-skating, bowling, laser tag, hiking, tennis, horseback riding, and more.
I also thrive on creativity—painting, drawing, and making arts and crafts. I love to explore nature, art, books at places like the Rio Grande Nature Center, museums, libraries, or galleries.
Of course, I love cooking and teaching kids to cook healthy, fun meals. Lastly, I like to play board games, cards, and dancing!

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is keeping children safe—physically and emotionally—while being reliable, accountable, and punctual. Parents are trusting me to show up on time, follow their rules, and handle emergencies calmly.
Beyond the essentials, I want to create an engaging, loving environment where kids feel secure to learn, play, and grow. Whether it’s reading together, organizing sensory activities, or helping with homework, I tailor experiences to each child’s needs. I also pitch in with kid-related tasks (meal prep, laundry, tidying play areas) so parents come home to a calm, happy household.

My experience with special needs children...
Within my private practice, I have counseled and worked with teens and young adults that have autism spectrum disorder. With his clients, I have specifically worked with them on improving their physical fitness, helping them to create healthy, exercise routines. As well as working on various dietary challenges, including reducing picky, eating reducing food, texture, aversions improving the frequency at which healthy nutritious foods like vegetables are consumed, as well as reducing sugary highly processed foods. I have also worked with preteens and teenagers that have body dysmorphia and disordered eating patterns.
The most important part about being a nanny...
This spring, my 14-year-old niece asked to learn how to make my grandmother’s special holiday bread recipe. While the dough rose for hours, we walked my dogs, filmed a silly meme giving them a bath, and swapped family stories. It was heart warming. Another memory that come so mind was from this summer. I watched my friend’s 3- and 6-year-old at the country club pool—diving for gems, racing on floaties, and snapping goofy photos. By pickup, the kids were sun-kissed, fed, and happily exhausted. My friend texted: “You’re a lifesaver!” That mix of teaching, laughing, and keeping everyone safe is why I find joy in childcare.

I have experience working with nonverbal individuals, including use of ASL and AAC devices. Currently, I am substituting (I needed a break from the paperwork!).
