I have five years of babysitting and nanny experience. I spend time working at my local church nursery and volunteering at local elementary schools. I enjoy just about everything. I love playing outside, going on walks, swimming, building projects, and many more. Being inside, I love baking, arts and crafts, science projects, building different things, playing with toys, helping them with homework, and more. What matters to me about being a nanny is making sure the children I’m watching always feel comfortable, safe, and supported. I want to help them become the best possible versions of themselves, and that starts with them knowing you believe in them. I believe each child is different and unique in their own way, and I want to help them grow individually into their own amazing personality. Every child is so special, my goal is to make sure they know they are as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My most memorable event as a nanny happened this past summer when I taught my little girl how to swim. I have been babysitting her for five years now, she’s now six years old. For the past few years, she’s had a fear or swimming without her life vest. This past summer, she told me she wanted to learn. We spent days and days trying and practicing. Through many tears and conversations, she finally did it! It was so rewarding seeing how happy she was, and seeing how proud she was of herself. She went from barley touching the water, to jumping in!
