More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked in a preschool for about a year and a half total, mainly with the 1 year Olds and 2 year olds.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love art, and anything creative. Making gifts for people in the family, hiking, park, karate, rock climbing (indoor), mygym, soccer, library, Disney, board games, indoor games, throwing ball, riding bikes, trampoline parks, swimming in pools and splash pads, flash cards, reading books, circle time and last but not least, laughing.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The children come first. Always. I love helping families and making parents lives easier, however, if a child hands me a board game and I'm doing laundry, laundry can wait. I believe you always put your nanny kids love and safety over anything you are doing.
My experience with special needs children...
I have personal experience with people and children with mental health issues, anger issues, Autistic children who could dress themselves and feed themselves. Add. Adhd. Dairy, peanut and animal allergies.
The most important part about being a nanny...
1. When I first met a set of kids their mom said "okay boys, you interview her like you wanted"
Boys-do you like dirt?
Me-yes of course, do you like mud?
Boys-um yes! Do you like worms?
Me-No, but as long as you don't chase me or hurt them I don't mind!
Boys- *look at eachother* okay she is hired!
2. When my nanny kid called me super nanny and said he loves me and never wants me to leave.
