I’ve worked with children in the past at the Mulvane Recreation Center in Mulvane, KS, for two years from ages 1-12. I’ve worked with children with autism. I have First Aide and CPR certifications. I’m reliable, and organized. I manage my time well. I’m good at deescalating, redirecting and problem-solving. I can do house cleaning, and meal prep. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing art and making crafts. I have fun building with legos, playing with play-doh. I enjoy being outside and playing some recreational sports like kickball. I enjoy cooking, or baking. Puzzles are fun, as well as board games. And the occasional movie doesn’t hurt.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being able to adapt to any situation, to think quick on your feet, and to make sure safety is always first. And of course have fun!

My experience with special needs children...

I worked one on one with a child with high-level autism. From age 10-12. He would sometimes communicate non-verbally, sometimes physically and other times through his gestures. He did well with redirection and sensory tools.
