I’ve been around kids my whole life—coming from a big family, taking care of children has always felt natural. I’ve done everything from changing diapers and giving baths to cooking, helping with routines, and planning fun outings. My family believes it takes a village, and I bring that same mindset into every home I work with. I’m currently working toward becoming a nurse—still figuring out which field—but I know working with kids now will help me in the long run, especially if I go into pediatrics. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

helping raise younger siblings and cousins of all age groups everyday. I’ve been hands-on with everyday care like diaper changes, feedings, bath time, school routines, and outings to the park. Growing up in a big family, it became second nature to step in and help wherever needed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

anything fun and safe—whether it’s going to the park, doing crafts, playing games, reading, or just being silly together. I’m a fun, easygoing person and I love keeping kids engaged in ways that make them laugh, learn, and feel comfortable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is making sure the child feels safe, loved, and understood. It’s more than just watching them—it’s about being someone they can trust and feel comfortable with. I think it also means being dependable for the parents, keeping their routine going, and creating a calm, positive environment in their home.

My experience with special needs children...

is limited, but I did spend about a month working with them through Ameriserve International. It gave me a small but helpful introduction to what that care involves, and I’m open to learning more and gaining more hands-on experience if given the opportunity.
