Married at 16, happy to have baby boy at 17, had 2 more babies by 21. LOVED being a mom! Applied & became Foster Parent for Texas Department of Human Resources when all kids had started to school- received a 5 week old baby girl, had her for 17 months before she was adopted. Received 2 sisters ages 2 & 4 next, had them six months. Went to work for a non-profit organization after that, later began working as Nurse Aid for local nursing home, became a Med-Aide, went to Nursing school, got my LVN, worked 15 years in Nursing homes, & home health. Retired from nursing, worked as secretary & taught childrens classes at Church. In 2010, became guardian & ‘Mom’ for mentally disabled brother, brought him home from State Living Center & cared for him until September of this year when due to illness, he was admitted to local nursing home. I love taking care of/helping people, am very good at determining the needs, physical or emotional of babies, children & special needs situations...
