Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading stories, playing games, dancing, and doing fun educational activities with children indoors. Outdoors, I enjoy playground time, nature walks, scavenger hunts, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, sports, and other active group games. I especially enjoy activities that allow children to be creative, have fun, and learn at the same time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is making sure the children feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while their parents are away. I want to build a trusting relationship with them where they feel listened to, respected, and supported. I also think it’s important to make everyday moments fun by playing, learning, being creative, and spending quality time together. I want parents to feel confident knowing their children are in good hands and that I genuinely care about their well-being.
My experience with special needs children...
Working at the daycare we had 2 special needs children. They taught me a lot about myself and also taught me a different kinda of patience and love!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memory would be when I was working at the daycare we had a field trip to the pool. One of the girls wanted to learn how to swim so she could go with her friends so in the kid area I taught her how to swim. The following week she came back and told me she showed her mom that she could swim and the smile on her face was so beautiful and warming.
