From my early days of childcare, before I became a babysitter, I worked at a TGI Fridays and a couple would leave their 6 year old with me up at the front while they had date night for 2 hours. I didn't mind. The kid loved Undertale and we'd just talk about it for hours. The last day I saw them her mother told me that she doesn't talk to any kids her age and has trouble with babysitters and authority. But not me. That convinced me to pursue childcare.
