My name is Nia Delaney, and I am 24 years old with a passion for working with children. This passion began during my childhood through active involvement in my church's youth department and has grown stronger over the years.

I have worked at a childcare center for five years, gaining experience with children of all ages—from infants to school-aged kids and beyond. This role has given me the skills and understanding needed to support children in their growth and development. I will graduate this May with a bachelor’s degree in education, further enhancing my ability to guide and nurture young minds.

Although I am an only child, I have step-siblings and close friends with children. I love spending time with them, watching their growth, and encouraging their curiosity. My dedication and experience reflect my commitment to providing a loving, supportive environment for children.

I love being outdoors with children, going for a walk, playing at the park, and being indoors to create memories and being able to explore with paint, music, and work on some fun educational activities as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being able to help kids grown and learn more and more each day. I love being able to assist the families with anything they may need, nothing is so big or small. The most important thing about being a nanny is letting the kids and families know that they are supported and heard with anything. I love being able to help and make an impact, while being the best nanny I can be.

My experience with special needs children...

While working at the child care center I have experience a variety of students who had special needs and also during my college experience and going to the difference school, I got to witness first hand and be able to assist and work with students who had special needs. I had to create lesson plans and figure out a variety of ways to keep them included and make them feel as if they are still apart of the classroom, regardless of who they are.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I enjoy when I arrive to the house and the kids would instantly say "Miss.Nia" that shows me that they know my name and I make a huge impact on their life.

Another time is, we were eating dinner and the 3 year old wanted to sing, so of course I joined him and sung all of his favorite songs. Those are the memories that mean the most to me.
