More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’m 19 years old and have several years of experience caring for children, from infants under one up to about seven. I grew up with three younger siblings and was often trusted to babysit children in my church community while parents attended Bible studies, date nights, and other events. I’m mature, responsible, and patient, and I know how to keep children safe, engaged, and happy while following routines and instructions carefully. I’m comfortable with light meal prep, tidying up after kids, pets, and handling allergies, and I’m confident in my commuting skills even without a car. I aim to create a fun, nurturing, and secure environment where children feel cared for and parents feel completely at ease.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in fun, age-appropriate activities that help them learn and explore. Some of the things I enjoy most include reading stories, arts and crafts, outdoor play and walks, imaginative play, singing and dancing, and simple educational activities like counting, shapes, or colors. I’m bilingual, so if your child is interested in watching shows or learning in Spanish, I can also assist with that. I enjoy following the child’s lead while keeping them safe, happy, and engaged.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel cared for, happy, and confident to explore and learn. It’s also about being reliable, patient, and attentive, following routines, and building a trusting relationship with both the children and their parents.
My experience with special needs children...
While I haven’t personally babysat children with special needs yet, I’ve grown a lot working with children of all ages and abilities, and I’m open and eager to gain experience in this area. I’m patient, adaptable, and committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for every child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was babysitting a family with a young girl and an older boy. We were making Rice Krispie treats we saw on TikTok, and they ended up eating them before we even finished making them! It was so cute and funny, and I loved seeing how excited and happy they were it reminded me why I enjoy spending time with kids so much.

Babysitter Available in Philadelphia, PA: Sofia M.
I am a recent graduate of Temple University with a degree in accounting. I am now living in Philadelphia before starting my full time position in September and studying for my CPA exam. I have about 7 years of experience with nannying/babysitting children ranging from infants to middle school. I also have my car here, and I feel comfortable driving with children in the car if need be. There are many activities that I enjoy doing while watching the kids. I love to play outside, go to the park, crafts, baking, etc. I can also help around the house if that is something that is needed as well. I have no preference for hours worked during the day, but I would prefer to be home at a reasonable hour. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out!
Full-Time Nanny Available in Philadelphia, PA: Amelia L.
Hello! I am a childcare professional with many years of experience with kids of all ages and in different environments.
I have a BA in Psychology and a Master's in Education from Northeastern University.
My first job was as a teacher in a 4th/5th grade classroom. Later, I worked as an art teacher for ages 3-12 at a Montessori School.
I spent summers as a nanny for a family with two children ages 2 and 4. I moved in with them after I left the Montessori school to help take care of the kids, and to help welcome and care for their third baby on the way. I lived with them for 2 years, caring for the youngest from the day she was born until she was almost 2 years old.
My childcare philosophy is grounded in structure and consistency. This does not mean no fun! I love imaginative play and creative projects, but at the end of the day, my job is to keep kids safe and to give them a structure they understand so they can thrive.
