A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Nia I am currently a college student pursuing a degree in sociology with hopes of becoming an occupational therapist and also owning my own child care business. For the past 6 years I have worked part time as a babysitter providing innovative and fun educational experiences for children through arts and crafts, field trips, books and other fun engaging activities. 3 of those years were at an in-home daycare and the past 3 years have been as a nanny. I am familiar with working with multiple children at a time ages newborn through 15 years old. I currently work with autistic kids on various ends of the spectrum which has become a passion of mine. I also work with a pair of twins! I enjoy learning from the kids I work with as much as I do caring for them and I try to leave a positive impact on every kid I work with. I do have my own transportation, love the outdoors and very animal friendly. I am also CPR/AED certified.
