I volunteered at Govans Preschool from age 12 to age 14 and then began babysitting from 15 to 18 for neighborhood children. I found that I had a love for it and would like to start again!

What matters to me about being a nanny is the positive impact I hope to leave on a child and a family. No matter the duration of time we spend together it is always my intent to have fun and help a child explore the world safely! I love to help children learn and watch them grow into wonderful people right before my eyes.
My experience with special needs children...
My two younger siblings were diagnosed at a young age with special needs. This definitely impacted me and the way I interact and take care of children. I have a lot of empathy and admiration for children who struggle with mental health and believe they are truly wonderful. It would be an honor to care for a child in the same way I have gotten to care for my sister and brother all these years.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Definitely all the make-believe games. I have been a dragon, a witch, the evil stepmother, and so many other roles where I have been vanquished and transformed into a life of good! I love to encourage imagination and made-up games because it brings out such a lovely and happy side in all the children I have cared for.
