Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For the past three years, I have worked in two child care centers. In August 2019, I was the school-age teacher at Creative Children's Learning Center. While working there, I provided care and assistance for 21 children ages 6 to 12 years old. Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, we shut down in July of 2020. Glady, I landed the position as the kindergarten and first-grade teacher at the Backyard in July of 2020. While working there, I provided care and assistance for 20 children ages 5 to 7 years old. I worked there until my recent move to Starkville, MS.
My experience with special needs children...
While working at Creative Children's Learning Center, I had three children in my class of 21 that had extra needs and needed more assistance. And at the Backyard, for about a month I cared for and assisted a seven-year-old boy with Angelman syndrome.
