I have many years of experience caring for children and truly enjoy helping them learn and grow. I spent two years working as a nanny, creating a safe, loving, and structured environment while supporting children’s daily routines, play, and development. As a mom myself, I understand the importance of building trust and forming strong connections with both children and families. I’ve also worked as a teaching assistant with preschoolers ages infants–5, helping with learning activities, communication, and positive behavior, and I’ve provided private tutoring focused on fine motor skills and early reading. I’m patient, kind, and attentive, and I believe in encouraging children to feel confident, capable, and proud of their accomplishments.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

As someone who is young at heart, I love creating fun and meaningful experiences for children both indoors and outdoors. On our daily walks, we took time to appreciate nature — watching birds fly, spotting ducks on the lake, and saying hello to people walking their dogs. We sang songs together and listened fun, children's music, turning every walk into a joyful adventure. Indoors, I enjoyed playing with Play-Doh to build fine motor skills, read books, and worked on chunky puzzles. We also explored early learning through playful activities like letter recognition, sang songs to learn the alphabet and body parts, and practiced good manners in a fun, encouraging way.

The most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, loving bond with the children and creating a safe, nurturing environment where they feel valued and secure. It’s about showing patience, consistency, and genuine care every day while supporting their growth and development through play, learning, and routines. A nanny becomes an important part of a child’s world, and knowing you’re helping them feel confident, loved, and understood is truly the heart of this work.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most meaningful nanny experiences began when I started caring for a sweet 13-month-old little girl. Over the two years I spent with her, we formed a deep bond that felt like family. Every day, I would sign (in my own simple way) to her while saying, “I love you so much and more!” It became our little tradition. One day, she signed it back to me — a beautiful, unforgettable moment that showed how much love and trust had grown between us. Moments like that remind me why I’m so passionate about caring for children.
