More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked for many years in both preschool settings and as a nanny, gaining extensive experience caring for children of all ages. In the preschool environment, I supported early learning, helped children develop social and emotional skills, and created a fun and structured atmosphere for growth. As a nanny, I provided personalized care, built strong relationships with families, and focused on creating safe, nurturing, and engaging routines tailored to each child’s needs. These experiences have strengthened my patience, creativity, and love for helping children learn and thrive.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids busy, happy, and learning through fun, hands-on activities. Some of my favorite things to do with children include:
• Arts and crafts – painting, coloring, making creative projects, and exploring their imagination.
• Outdoor play – going for walks, playing at the park, riding bikes, or enjoying nature.
• Reading time – sharing stories, encouraging early literacy, and sparking a love for books.
• Educational play – doing puzzles, building with blocks, or playing games that help with problem-solving and teamwork.
• Music and movement – singing, dancing, and enjoying fun ways to get energy out.
• Sensory and learning activities – exploring textures, colors, and creative play that supports development.
Most of all, I enjoy seeing children light up when they learn something new or create something they’re proud of!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting and loving relationship with both the child and the family. Children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and cared for—and I believe that kind of connection is at the heart of great childcare.
It’s not just about supervising or helping with routines; it’s about being a positive role model, providing consistency, and supporting each child’s emotional and developmental growth. A nanny becomes part of a child’s world, and I take that responsibility to heart—showing up with patience, kindness, and genuine care every single day.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum. Through this work, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each child’s unique strengths and challenges. I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment that encourages communication, independence, and confidence.
Whether it’s helping with daily routines, offering sensory-friendly activities, or supporting social and emotional development, I take pride in meeting children where they are and helping them grow at their own pace. Working with children with autism has taught me to celebrate every small success and to always approach care with empathy and respect.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was watching a child I cared for take their first steps. I had been working closely with them, encouraging tummy time, cheering them on during those early wobbly stands, and celebrating every little milestone. When they finally let go and took those first few steps toward me, the excitement and joy on their face were unforgettable. Moments like that remind me why I love what I do—being part of a child’s growth, cheering them on, and seeing their confidence bloom is truly priceless.
