Hi, my name is Nicole, I’m 18 years old, and I’m passionate about working with children. I’m pursuing a career as a labor and delivery nurse, and gaining hands-on experience helps me understand their needs and development. I’m a compassionate, dependable caregiver with a calm, approachable demeanor. I tailor my approach to each child, encourage learning through play, celebrate milestones, and provide emotional support. I enjoy outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, arts and crafts, and other activities that foster growth. I have limited experience, preferably ages 2 and up, but I’m comfortable with infants with guidance. I can care for up to four children, have a car, and am comfortable with pets. I’m not CPR certified but willing to become certified if needed. I prefer at least one in-depth conversation with parents to discuss routines, needs, household rules, and traveling/distance. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am happy to engage children in a variety of activities, including educational games, arts and crafts, puzzles, board games, outdoor play, and outings. I am comfortable taking children on appropriate trips as long as parents are comfortable and safety is ensured. If a vehicle is needed, I would prefer to use the family’s car, with permission, to ensure convenience and safety. If necessary, I can use my own car, though it does not have car seats and has limited space. While I am comfortable allowing screen time if the family permits, I prefer to use it sparingly, as I believe it’s important for children to engage in a variety of activities that promote creativity, learning, and physical activity. I am flexible and adaptable to weather and activity restrictions while keeping the children engaged and happy.
