A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Nicole and I am looking for a nanny position this summer! I am 19 years old and attend college at UD as a pre-vet major! I love to do arts and crafts, surf, explore new places and cook! I live in the Bethany area and have a flexible schedule throughout the summer. I have a good amount of experience with child care/babysitting because I have younger cousins and two nieces that I look after constantly and absolutely adore. I remember when I was young, my sister and I had lots of different nannies for years. Some of the nannies we had made such an amazing difference in our lives that we still are in touch to this day. I hope that I can provide that for a child because it’s important to have support and guidance from someone who genuinely cares.

Throughout high school, I would volunteer at my old middle school for a volleyball program and teach kids of various ages all about the game. I also worked at sea colony as a pool lifeguard and cared for children on a daily basis.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Painting, letting them do my makeup (lol), going to the beach, going to the pool, watching movies, baking, homework/reading to them, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Patience and a positive attitude sets a good example for not just children, but everyone around you. It’s important to keep in mind that being a nanny gives you the opportunity to teach, but it also gives you the opportunity to grow and learn new things about yourself and others everyday.
