I'm a freelance journalist/stay-at-home mom with years of experience juggling work, home and kids' schedules.
I'm well-read, well-traveled and really enjoy working with kids, especially those in elementary school. Over the last few years, I've been helping various families with childcare and am currently homeschooling a 6-year-old (ADHD) who will go to regular school in fall. We read together, do science experiments, go on excursions and sometimes cook together. From someone who claimed to not like books when I started working with him, he has moved to reading chapter books fluently. He's also well ahead of his peers in math. I care for his older siblings as well before and after school.
My kids are grown up and I am very flexible with timing. I can work as late as needed, as many days as required.
