I am from a small place called Benbow Village/Moore Haven Fl, where almost everyone is Kin. That's how I got started with caring for kids. I was always taking care of my younger family members and I loved it. I have over 20 years of experience with taking care of the kiddos. I am offering child care services, senior care, light housekeeping and service for children with special needs. I've also cared for and taught special needs adults. I love children and children adore me in return. I have been caring for them since I was about 9 years old. I've looked after newborns, toddlers, and children of all ages. I use to be a Special Needs Teacher for about two years with my class ranging from ages 16-60+ years. I taught them life skills like cooking, dressing themselves, ironing, being independent, etc. I think it's important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling, and safe environment. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher at a Dayhab Facility in Texas for 2 years. My classroom consisted of Special Needs Adults ages ranging from 18-60+ I taught them to be independent and how to do everyday things like cooking for themselves, picking out clothes to look presentable, how to fill out job applications, etc... We would do the alphabet in sign language everyday at the beginning of every class. We did arts and crafts times as well as physical activities to keep them active and healthy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing Arts and crafts such as painting, making things like jewelry that they can wear and be proud of what they made. Reading, life skills, cooking, playing games and video games, Going to the park, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love teaching them new and exciting things and watching them grow before my very eyes like I do with my own children.

My experience with special needs children...

I had a classroom with about 16-20 adults with special needs ranging from 16 to 60+ and they had different types of disabilities. Some had Down Syndrome, Aspergers, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Epilepsy, etc. They were all special in their own way and I loved them wholeheartedly. The most loving community in the world

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is when they see me and their eyes light up and we pick up right where we left off. I love having a bond with them and making every moment memorable and fun.
