More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over four years of experience working with children through my roles at First Camp, Growing Room, private babysitting, and two camp counselor positions. At Growing Room, I assisted teachers with classroom activities, daily routines, supervision, and children’s development. Through babysitting, I provided individualized care, prepared meals, organized activities, and maintained safe environments. At First Camp, I supervised elementary-aged children, led games and crafts, and encouraged teamwork and positive behavior. At Ellenwood Equestrian Center, I supervised children during horse-related activities and taught safety procedures. These experiences strengthened my communication, leadership, patience, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I am dependable, adaptable, responsible, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, organizing fun activities, playing outdoor games, and encouraging children to use their creativity and imagination. Through my experience as a camp counselor and assistant riding instructor, I have enjoyed leading group activities, supervising outdoor play, and helping children learn new skills. I also enjoy reading with children, playing games, and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they can learn and grow.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the children feel safe, happy, loved, and well cared for. I enjoy watching them explore their creativity, create new things, and learn through play. I believe it is important to encourage children to be kind, express themselves, and use their imagination while providing a safe and supportive environment where they can grow and thrive.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with children with special needs includes working with nonverbal children, children who may elope or wander away from supervised areas, and children who have difficulty with hearing in loud environments. I understand the importance of patience, attentiveness, and adapting my communication and approach to meet each child's individual needs. I focus on maintaining a safe environment, providing support and encouragement, and helping every child feel comfortable, included, and understood.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are when I get to use my imagination with the children to create fun stories, color together, and play pretend. I love seeing how creative children can be and joining in on their ideas to make playtime exciting. These moments are special to me because they allow me to bond with the children while encouraging their creativity, imagination, and confidence.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Indianapolis, IN: Aniya G.
Hi! My name is Aniya, and I’m 19 years old. I recently graduated from high school and am taking a gap year to learn more about myself while exploring the career path I want to pursue. During this time, I want to spend it doing something that truly brings me joy, and caring for children has always been one of those things.
Growing up, I was always surrounded by younger family members, and I’ve loved being someone they could laugh with, learn from, and feel safe around. Those experiences taught me that being a caregiver is about so much more than watching children it’s about being patient, kind, dependable, and creating a space where they feel loved, encouraged, and free to be themselves.
I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your children, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to be someone your family can rely on while making your little ones feel happy, supported, and cared for every day.
