Hi..call me Nkamo..I’m an experienced nanny who has been a nanny for half a decade with all ages ..I worked with 4 boys aged 1, 3, 6 and 9 from 2022 until November 2023(it doesn’t get more challenging and more chaotic than that..lol) I’m currently in Chestnut hill area working for a family with 3 kids but I’m more responsible for 5 year old boy with autism( so I’m experienced in that too..lol.and have been with them for 8 months..I would be available from middle of July. And would prefer full time and for at least 6 months. have worked with every age group, and every background. I am confident that there’s nothing I wouldn’t handle when it comes to the little ones..I have always been confident in my ability to be the best nanny but coming to the family I work for right now sealed it and put a stamp on it….and I can officially say I am the best thing that happened to every family that I have ever worked for..and I know I sound cockey but people who have trusted me never regret it..😂

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Before coming to the US, I was working with a family of 5 as a housekeep and a nanny in South Africa.abd prior to that, I had been taking care of my siblings and cousins because you know, I’m the oldest 😂.

My grandmother was also a nanny and I would always help take care of the kids that were brought to our house( who would go from the number of 3 to 10) and that’s where I learned all the tricks of being the nanny, and this was all before I was 18

Read,sing,dance,draw,make arts, go to the park,bake,cook, and everything else

The most important part about being a nanny...

Getting to see kids grow and learning ,and being very curious about what’s going around them.

I would also help with light chores and make sure the house runs smoothly because something I also pride myself in is making life easier for the parents. Take all the stress off their shoulders ..I never wanna make my employees feel like I’m just occupying space..I always wanna be there to help , be involved in running the house ..because when the kids are happy, everybody is happy 😌

Having worked with a lot kids and families , I used to think , “oh, I have done this before “ , and what I appreciate more about children is how similar they are but also completely individually different. And how it blows my mind that with having experienced more than 10 children and different personalities, I know there’s always a new personality I haven’t come across which always makes me excited to not just care about them but also learn about and from them

My experience with special needs children...

My first child I cared for with special needs is a 5yo boy who it’s Autism and I’m loving it 😌..I went from a complete shock, panic and clueless to being fascinated on how and why they do things..this ddnt happen overnight but I’m still learning everyday and I think “I’m crushing it” as my current family would say.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When it was time to depart from the family that I was working with..the 6 year old who told me for the whole year that he ddnt like me because I was mean and didn’t let him watch too much TV like his previous nanny finally told me how much he loved me and I was the best he ever had..

Also how close I have gotten with the kid that I’m currently with (5yo with autism ..every day with him is my favorite moment
