The most important part about being a nanny...
During a position I held as a long term nanny for three little boys, the youngest boy once spotted a deer roaming his front yard. He grabbed his nerf gun and was set on going out and catching the deer! But, I told him he had to settle on just watching from the window. So we sat at the window and drew pictures of the deer until it eventually wandered off.
