More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked as a nanny and childcare provider for over 12 years, including experience as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. I’ve also been a certified medical assistant, which gave me strong skills in health and safety. I’ve volunteered in after-school programs and helped lead educational playgroups for infants and toddlers.
I also do meal preps for families I worked with, help with household related chores, organizing and help with laundry, basically acting as a family assistant.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading books, baking, sensory play, and building forts indoors. Outdoors, I love going on nature walks, playing at the park, sidewalk chalk, water play, and organizing fun learning games. I focus on activities that are both fun and developmentally enriching!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving space where a child feels seen, supported, and free to grow. It’s not just about watching kids, it’s about nurturing their hearts, minds, and confidence every single day.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing therapy for children with autism and other developmental delays. I have experience supporting kids with sensory sensitivities, speech delays, ADHD, and behavioral challenges using ABA strategies and a compassionate, patient approach.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a 6-year-old I cared for saved up her lemonade stand money to buy me a “Best Nanny Ever” trophy. She was so proud to surprise me with it, and I was completely speechless. It was one of the most touching and thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received, a moment I’ll never forget. 💜

Babysitter Available in Pensacola, FL: Jay M.
I'm very responsible and caring and want to help families by providing a safe fun environment for their children while also helping out the parents in what they may need an extra hand in. As the eldest daughter i've been taking care of younger siblings since I can remember and have been single handling taking care of my youngest brother who is special needs since I was 13! I love creating fun activities and projects, cleaning, and most importantly keeping those in my care safe. I feel I must add anything I earn is going towards a car fund so I can help fully in anything the family may need.
