I was a youth camp leader for three summers in a row. It was challenging because I was in charge of twenty girls at a time. I volunteered as a tutor at a high school for about three weeks. I also spend a lot of my time babysitting my adorable cousins and second cousins.

What matters most to me as a nanny? First and foremost the safety of your child. I will ensure that your child is safe. Secondly, creating an enriching environment that is both fun and educational. I always endeavor to ensure that a child under my care is both happy and safe. These are the most important parts of being a nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have any childcare experience with special needs children. However, I have tutored many students with special needs. I have always been able to tailor the lesson plan in a way that is beneficial for their learning experience. The most important thing to remember is that no child is exactly the same. It is imperative to take the individual into consideration when formulating a plan for their care. Creativity is probably my most valuable characteristic when it come to the care of children, especially those with special needs.
