Hello, my name is Norah! I am 20 years old and live in La crosse. I am a pre-nursing student, going to be starting nursing school Spring of 2027. I am currently First Aid and CNA certified, soon will be getting my CPR certification as well. I am looking for a childcare position in La Crosse, Wi from end of July/early August until December. I will still have some availability throughout the spring, but it will depend on my class schedule. I currently work as an environmental assistant, and have 3+ years experience of cleaning, so I am more than happy to help out with different tasks around the house if needed. I can also prepare meals for different meal times if needed in the time scheduled!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have had many occasional childcare positions ranging from children months old too around 10. I have also watched groups of children from 1 child up to 4 children at a time. I often watch my boyfriends nieces and nephews as well!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to do different activities with children like crafts, reading, games, outdoor fun, etc.!!! I am very open to various different activities with the children.

I think the most important part of childcare is really helping children to grow as individuals and help them to excel in different skills and activities.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not had any direct childcare experience with special needs children. I am not opposed to it, but I do feel if there is someone with more experience and training with special needs children they would better know how to care for the child!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my most favorite childcare moments are having fun outside with the children as they run all around and exhaust themselves at the playground or just outside in general. I also love when I am able to grow a connection with the children and they are so excited to see you come and spend the day with them. The joy of when they are so happy to see you is so amazing.
