I have personal experience caring for a sibling who is autistic, nonverbal, and has Down syndrome. Through this, I've gained hands-on experience with daily care, including G-tube feedings and supporting unique communication needs. I also know basic American Sign Language (ASL) and understand the importance of patience, compassion, and adapting care to each child's individual needs.
