More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

As a private nanny, I prepared meals, planned crafts, read stories, and took children to the park, library, and other fun outings. I also worked as a childcare teacher assistant, helping with daily routines, learning activities, and keeping children safe and engaged.

I enjoyed private nannying so much because I got to build a close bond with the child I cared for and make each day fun and meaningful. Getting to know their personality, interests, and little routines made the job feel personal and rewarding. I’d love to build that connection with another family!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts, reading stories, dancing to music, and playing imaginative games with children. I also enjoy trips to the park and library, outdoor adventures, and simple activities that make learning fun. I like getting to know each child’s interests so we can plan things they’re excited about. Some of my favorite moments are seeing them proudly show off something they made or hearing their little laughs during playtime!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, loved, and understood. I want them to know they can trust me, whether they need comfort, encouragement, or someone to listen. Being patient, following the family’s routines, and communicating with parents helps build that trust. To me, caring for a child means paying attention to who they are and helping them feel confident as they grow.

My experience with special needs children...

have experience caring for children with ADHD. I focus on being patient, giving clear and gentle reminders, and keeping activities engaging while allowing time for movement and breaks. I understand that every child’s needs are different, so I work with parents to learn which routines and approaches help their child feel supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite childcare moments happened when I was an assistant teacher. A little girl in my class was afraid to sit on the potty, so I spent weeks gently talking with her, encouraging her, and letting her take small steps at her own pace. One day, she finally wanted to try! At first, she would only sit on it for me, and it meant so much to know she trusted me to help her feel safe. I was so proud of her for working through her fear. That little moment reminded me how much patience and encouragement can mean to a child.

I am currently a nursing student who plans to go into the NICU/Pediatric Unit. I have worked with children professionally since I was 16, as a camp aide and also at children's educational centers (Stemville!) I am willing to work with kids of all ages and don't mind doing things such a tutoring, helping with homework, and any other things around the house. I am someone who will enforce rules you set and make sure your children have a safe, great time while also putting their care first. I try to have an approach that is respectful to both you, your children and your household. I am CPR/AED certified but this does expire soon so I will be renewing it. I hope to be a great fit for your family!
