I have relevant experience caring for children through both my education and work experience. In high school, I took child development and early childhood education classes where I learned how to properly care for and communicate with children of different ages. These classes taught me responsibility, patience, safety procedures, and how to create a positive environment for children to learn and grow.

I also currently work at a daycare, where I care for children daily by supervising activities, helping with meals and snacks, assisting with learning activities, and ensuring the children are safe and comfortable. Working at a daycare has helped me improve my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I enjoy working with children and creating positive relationships with them while supporting their emotional and educational development.

I enjoy doing a variety of activities with children that are both fun and educational. I like engaging children in active sports and outdoor activities during the summer, such as basketball, soccer, running games, and playground activities because they help children stay active, build teamwork skills, and have fun. I also enjoy educational learning activities like reading books, helping with homework, arts and crafts, puzzles, and interactive games that encourage creativity and learning. I enjoy creating a positive environment where children can learn, stay active, and feel comfortable expressing themselves while having fun.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, loved, and encouraged to grow. Building trust with both the children and their families is very important because it helps create strong relationships and positive communication. I believe being patient, responsible, and attentive to a child’s emotional, educational, and physical needs is essential in helping them develop confidence and feel supported every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was helping a child take his first steps. It was such a special and rewarding experience to encourage him, hold his hands, and watch him gain the confidence to walk on his own for the first time. Seeing how excited and proud he was made me feel happy knowing I was part of such an important milestone in his growth and development. It reminded me how meaningful working with children can be and how important patience, support, and encouragement are in helping them succeed.
