I grew up helping to watch 2 younger brothers as well as my niece and nephew. In recent years, I worked in a few childcare centers when I moved to FL.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My most favorite activities are creative outlets, but I also enjoy taking kids outside or playing puzzles/mind games with older kids. Younger children maybe drawn to my supplies I kept from the centers, such as books, puppets, or sensory items. I try to tailor the activities to specific ages and goals/needs of the individual child.

Seeing as I've been in the centers more, here is a moment from my time with 4-5year olds. I was building blocks with two boys and our theme was desert foods. So I prompted them to build a cake by adding layers of blocks. They thought to add candles and make it a birthday cake, so we started singing the happy birthday song, too. And I had them take turns "blowing out the candles" for our mini birthday party. :)
