I began babysitting at a young age by caring for my younger sister, which helped me develop patience, responsibility, and a strong understanding of children’s daily needs. As I grew more confident, I transitioned into freelance, paid babysitting, caring for children of different ages for various families.
Through this experience, I’ve handled responsibilities such as supervising playtime, preparing simple meals, helping with homework, following bedtime routines, and ensuring a safe, calm environment at all times. I enjoy keeping children engaged through fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities. This includes playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading stories, helping with homework, and encouraging imaginative play. I also enjoy outdoor activities like walks or playground time when appropriate, as well as calming routines such as bedtime stories and quiet time.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. When kids feel secure and cared for, it allows them to grow, learn, and have fun while parents feel confident and at ease.

One of my favorite moments was watching a child I cared for grow more confident over time. Whether it was mastering a new routine, finishing homework with pride, or opening up during playtime, seeing their progress and knowing I played a small role in it was incredibly rewarding.
