A little bit about me

I love children! I have been working in food management for the last several years and I have a 4 year old adopted son. I am shifting gears and going to do something that brings me joy! I resigned from my position due to a toxic work environment and helping a family and nurturing and teaching children is my passion.

I was the partial live-in Nanny starting at the age of 15 and cared for a boy for nearly 4 years until I went to college. I went to Georgetown College and majored in Elementary Education and minored in sociology. I don’t want to do full classroom teaching so I have been providing tutoring by the session.

I am a people person, outgoing, and trustworthy. Working with children has been my destiny and I plan on starting a daycare or tutoring business. However, my hopes and dreams won’t pay my bills and I need employment while that ball is rolling and would love to help a family with their little ones!
