I took the kiddos I was babysitting to the neighborhood playground, and we saw some deer, and one of the little girls looked at the deer and said "Hi grandma!", and when I asked her why she said that she told me, "My momma told me that whenever I see a deer, I should say hi to my grandma because that was her favorite animal when she was alive." she said it so casually it almost brought me to tears.
