More About Me

I have been an elementary educator for the last four years. Prior to that experience, I have been a regular babysitter for multiple families during high school and college.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing activities that are creative, age-appropriate, and help children feel engaged and cared for. With younger children, I love reading books, singing songs, going on stroller walks, doing tummy time or sensory play, and creating calm routines. With older children, I enjoy crafts, outdoor play, imaginative games, reading together, simple learning activities, and helping with homework.

Because of my education background, I also like incorporating little moments of learning into everyday activities in a fun and natural way. I enjoy helping children explore, play, build confidence, and feel safe in a positive environment.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience supporting children with a variety of learning, behavioral, developmental, and emotional needs through my background in elementary education. I have worked with children who had IEPs, 504 plans, ADHD, autism, speech/language needs, anxiety, sensory needs, and different learning styles.

I’m patient, calm, and comfortable adapting my approach based on the child’s needs. I understand the importance of consistency, clear communication, routines, positive reinforcement, and helping children feel safe and understood.
