More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. For the past nine years, I have provided babysitting and childcare services for families, helping with daily routines, homework, activities, meal preparation, and creating a safe and engaging environment. I also volunteered during summers at A Kid’s Place, a foster care center for children ages 0–14, where I worked with children from a variety of backgrounds, including those with emotional and behavioral challenges. These experiences have taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of providing a supportive and nurturing environment for every child.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy keeping children active, creative, and engaged. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, swimming, playing outside, sports, board games, Hot Wheels, Barbies, reading, and coming up with imaginative games. I’m also happy to adjust activities based on each child’s age, personality, and comfort level.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where children feel cared for and understood. I want every child I work with to feel happy, supported, and comfortable being themselves.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children who have ADHD, ADD, emotional regulation challenges, and behavioral difficulties. Through my work at A Kid’s Place and years of babysitting and nannying, I have learned how to remain patient, calm, and supportive in high-stress situations. I understand the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, and adapting to each child’s individual needs to help them feel safe, understood, and successful.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments is doing little science experiments and seeing the look on a child’s face when they realize they made that happen. I love watching kids get excited, ask a million questions, and become proud of themselves when they learn something new.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Valrico, FL: Andrée S.
Hi! I’m an experienced educator with many years of working with children, and I’m looking for a part-time nanny position. After years in education, I’m interested in something where I can focus my attention on one child or a small family rather than an entire classroom.
I especially love working with babies and young children and would be very happy caring for an infant. I genuinely enjoy all of the little everyday parts of baby care—holding and comforting them, bottles and feeding, tummy time, reading, playing, walks, naps, and supporting their development as they grow.
As a former teacher, I’m patient, dependable, nurturing, and very comfortable creating age-appropriate activities and routines. I also understand child development and know how important it is for children to feel safe, secure, and cared for.
Most importantly, I’m looking for a family where I can build a trusting relationship and become someone both the parents and their little one are genuinely happy to see. ❤️

I was born and raised in Indiana and moved to Florida after graduating high school. I enjoy the many outdoor activities living here provides including beach days, bike riding and paddle boarding. I consider myself outdoorsy, and think it's important to take advantage of this beautiful area. I am also a creative person, so art has been a great outlet and passion. This is leading me to attend Southeastern University if the fall of 2020 as a Graphic Design major. To save money for college this has led me to spend my summer as a childcare provider, I enjoy sharing my love of the outdoors and creativity with kids. I have over five year of babysitting experience since high school. I think it's important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling and enriched environment. I am an enthusiastic and responsible person and look forward to meeting you and your kids!
