A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Liv Johnson, and I’m 21 years old. I’m currently studying Child and Family Development at STLCC, with plans to graduate in 2026. I’m a full-time nanny, but I have a few days each week that are open—if you’re still looking for child care or interested in a nanny share, I’d love to talk!
I’m also teaching myself Mandarin and hold certifications in Water Safety for Parents and Caregivers and Adult, Child, and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED. I have previous experience working at a veterinary hospital, so I’m comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting and embroidering, which inspire creative activities for kids.
I live in the Tower Grove area but have a driver’s license and a reliable car, so I’m happy to travel. If I sound like a good fit for your family, please message me—I’d love to chat!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I currently work at a indoor playground and have done babysitting in the past before I started college.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy a mix of creative and active activities with kids. Indoors, I love crocheting and coloring, as they allow us to bond while fostering creativity. Outdoors, I enjoy taking walks at the zoo or parks, where we can explore nature, learn about animals, and stay active. These activities create fun, engaging experiences while encouraging learning and development.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive. Building trust and open communication with both the children and their parents is essential to ensure their needs are met. A great nanny also fosters a child’s growth and development through engaging activities, teaching moments, and emotional support, all while being adaptable to each family’s unique values and routines.

My experience with special needs children...

While I have no professional experience, my older brother has autism which I have grown up around my whole life.
