I was a teachers aid in a 2nd grade classroom. I volunteer in my churches kids ministry with children ages 0-10 every week. I also was a nanny for a 6 and 11 year old for a summer.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to go outdoors, my favorite activity that I did with the last little girl I nannied was going to the park or the splash pad. I absolutely love play-doh, crafts, and I don’t mind making a mess. (I’m sure to clean it afterwards)
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part is being a positive example in these children’s lives. I love building a relationship with them and watching them grow and learn. It is SO rewarding.
My experience with special needs children...
I helped care for the special needs children in my church, I have very limited experience. I only spent around an hour with them and did not do any feeds/diaper changes etc…

My favorite nanny moment was when the little girl I nannied learned how to swim and I was so proud of her and how much she grew. Or when babies fall asleep on me 🥰 it melts my heart.
