More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Growing up, I was frequently put in charge of supervising the younger kiddos of my family. As a teenager, I used that experience to start babysitting for families in my local community. When I was a young adult I worked as a nanny for about a year and a half for a single family, and loved that experience. I have a background with meal prep, housekeeping, and accommodating special needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Art - painting, drawing, sculpting, building, coloring, collaging, writing, sidewalk chalk, making crafts
Outdoor Recreation - hiking, walking in nature, nature-based scavenger/treasure hunts, parks, sports, making up games, gardening
Local Activities - Zoo, Garden/Nature Centers, Discovery Center, Museums
Fun - board games, science experiments, building forts/obstacle courses, bubbles, play pretend, jumprope/hopscotch, singing/dancing

My experience with special needs children...

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are those that I get the opportunity to learn. Children think with great innocence and honesty; I think they have a lot to teach if you are willing to listen.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Boise, ID: Kitty T.
I’m a grandmother that has spent much of her life caring for small children. I have had a daycare in my home as well as started a daycare that I ran for 4 years. My CPR and first aid has expired but I can retake the classes if needed. My strength are with infant and toddlers making them feel loved and secure. I am retired so in many ways I would love to give back to the young ones looking for love and comfort in a consistent routine. As well has helping parents juggle all that life throws at you. Kitty

Hello! My name is Emily and I am 19 years old. I have babysat since I was 16, and I also have experience working at a daycare in southeast boise. I am very patient and calm with kids, and was a highly respected daycare teacher at my previous job.
I am up to date on my CPR and First Aid certification, and also have an active childcare license for the city of Boise.
I believe the most important quality for a great nanny is patience. Communicating with young children can be hard, and with my experience I have been able to provide a safe space for the children in the daycare to open up about their feelings and communicate.
