Hi there! My name is Olivia McCasland and I am an incoming college senior at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Last summer (2024), I cared for three amazing kids (two girls, ages 8 and 10, and a 5-year-old boy), and I truly loved getting to know their unique personalities while keeping them active, engaged, and safe. I also have experience working with children who are visually impaired and on the autism spectrum, and I pride myself on being a patient, open-minded, and inclusive caregiver.

The most important part to me about being a nanny and working in childcare is making sure the child feels comfortable to be their authentic selves and help them foster creativity & kindness.

My experience with special needs children...

For two summers when I was ages 13 and 14 I volunteered at OWL Camp in which I took on the role of a buddy while caring for a visually impaired child for a week. This experienced trained me to be able to care for the visually impaired and children on the autism spectrum.
