A little bit about me

Hi there! I'm a sophomore at the University of Iowa studying political science/pre-law. I am looking for a summer nanny position while I am home. I would like to describe myself as someone who is energetic and loves being outdoors, so I will make sure that your kiddos make the most of their summer when Iowa weather permits while being safe with covid guidelines/comfort level of family. I am totally willing to do additional duties for your kiddos, including carpool in my suv, running errands and doing laundry. With being a CNA the past two years, I've come to the realization that I have a passion for caring for those from all walks of life and abilities. I am looking forward to whatever this summer may bring!

My experience with special needs children...

I have not cared for special needs children, but doing so would not be an issue for me whatsoever. I have been a cna in a nursing home for the past almost two years, so dealing with certain abilities is not an issue for me. I can adapt to situations pretty easily I'd say and the only way I can really learn how to be a successful nanny for a child with special abilities would be through experience!:)
