Depending on their age and level, it could be varieties of activities ranging from making cards and pictures, Outdoor games like tag, hide-and-seek, and ball games, I love us reading poems, stories and other books together and making up stories and maybe acting it.
Singing songs and having dance parties and dramas. Playing dress-up and using imagination, Baking cookies and making other treats. We could cook together, Going on nature walks and exploring the outdoors. Playing age-appropriate games and doing puzzles. Having water play and sensory activities, playing with bubbles, I enjoy hanging out with them, watching them enjoy their favourite food and games, helping them while playing on the swing. Being best friends.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important thing about being a nanny is building a strong, loving, and trusting relationship with the children in your care. It's about being a consistent, supportive, and nurturing presence in their lives, and providing a sense of security and stability.
For me, being a nanny is not just about caring for a child’s physical needs,
I believe that the bond between a nanny and child is unique and special, and has the potential to have a lasting impact on a child's life. That's why I strive to be the best nanny I can be, and to make a positive difference in the lives of the children I care for.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for a beautiful boy that had Down syndrome, It was a bit uneasy at first because it was my first time but as time went on, I got to understand him very well. I helped boost his confidence, made him understand he was the best version of himself and he should be proud of himself. We worked out together and played a lot. He was a sweet soul. Through that, I gained valuable experience in:
- Creating personalized plans to meet individual needs
- Implementing adaptive strategies for communication, behavior, and learning
- Providing emotional support and encouragement
- Collaborating with therapists, teachers, and healthcare professionals
- Fostering a supportive and accepting environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when these kids I was taking care of had a presentation in school. They were very anxious and I kept on letting them know that they’d ace it as long as we prepare them well for it. Helped them with their poise, confidence and diction but even though they were 99% ready, they were still scared. The day came and I was in the crowd , it was their turn, they stammered at first but I was screaming their names and cheering them on. They immediately started the presentation, thunderous applause followed after they were done.
Seeing the look of pride and accomplishment on their face was incredibly rewarding. It was a moment that showed me the impact I could have on a child's life, and it's a memory that I treasure to this day. I was so proud of myself.
As a nanny, I love being able to make a positive difference in a child's life, whether it's helping them overcome a fear, learn a new skill, or simply being a trusted and loving presence in their day-to-day life.
