Hi! I’m Orlia! if you ever need some personal time or just some help I would love to be of assistance. I was born in Jamaica and I am the oldest of 5. I graduated with a B.S in Psychology from FAMU and is now getting my Masters in Food Safety from Arizona State. I have done babysitting for family friends for many years. I have over 9 years of experience working with children as an RBT, case manager, special needs teacher, and a church nursery worker. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

When I was a RBT, then a case manager for families, then a special needs teacher, and now I currently help out in the nursery at my church and occasionally I have doula clients.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I loveeee arts and crafts, and imaginative play, and I occasionally enjoy a dance party as long as Danny Go and Gracie’s Corner are on the playlist. I also love exploring and going outdoors to help foster curiosity.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Remembering that kids are people too who just have very big emotions.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked mostly with kids on the spectrum or who had learning disabilities and were taking medication. As an RBT, I was trained in behavioral therapy and as a special needs teacher I was in a class of 13 kids ranging from kindergarten to 4th grade.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment would have to be with my Postpartum client. Seeing the baby smile for the first time (not the little 1 sec twitch smile). Idk why, but that was just so beautiful to me.
