More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at a day care called Bird's Nest for a couple months before I moved to Idaho. I worked mainly with the 2- to 3-year-old age group and consisted of ten kids. It was an amazing job, and I was grateful for the opportunity.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing crafts, playing outside, going on walks, having dance parties, playing make believe games, making up games with the kids, cooking and bake with the kids, and I enjoy playing with their toys with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me is teaching them how to treat others and giving the parents a break. I like providing a chance for parents to take some "me time" and I feel like as a nanny, I can teach the children how to be kind and how to be a good person. Overall, a nanny has the chance to bring happiness to a kid's life, and they can have a positive influence.
My experience with special needs children...
I would babysit for a family of four kids, and the oldest son has autism. I would babysit this family at least two times a week and I have learned his way of thinking. He is a very smart kid but there have been difficult times, I have learned to work with him and find what works. In school, I would volunteer and work with special needs children. I would help them with schoolwork, and I would teach them how to socialize. And I was a member of the Best Buddies program in my high school.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I remember putting a girl to bed and she said to me, "I love you, Paige." It was so sweet how she said it and it made me feel like I was doing a good job of taking care of her.

I'm very determined and hardworking. I love creating safe but fun environments for children. I think one of the most important things for me is veering children in good directions and protecting them at all costs. My favorite scripture is Luke 17:2. People have always told me I'm a good protector and would count on me in bad situations but in the good I love to nurture and teach.
