I have been a daycare teacher for 2 years as well as before working I volunteered for 2 years in daycares! Before being a daycare teacher I was babysitting for those around me when needed. And now I have been a nanny for a year and it is my absolute favorite!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts to help children learn about new topics. I love allowing g children to learn through play as I feel it helps many development skills. I’m a very outdoorsy person so going on walks, going to the park, or simply just playing in the yard are some of my favorite things to do. I love to sing and dance as well!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel the most important part of my job is to ensure the children I care for know they are loved as well as feel loved. I also think it’s important to help cater their fine motor skills as well as developmental skills in a fun and exciting way to help motivate and avoid them feeling pressured to learn, learning should always be fun and exciting!
