My name is Paige and I have been working with kids for over 12 years. I teach dance to kids of all ages. I have a passion for helping kids express themselves through movement whether that's in a dance class setting, or dancing in the living room to their favorite song. I grew up babysitting and working with kids comes naturally to me. I also have continued to learn how to best work with kids on the spectrum, with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and more. I have the experience and creativity to play with them screen-free if that's important to you. I play in the dirt, love arts & crafts and jump into their imaginary worlds with them. Arts & crafts, dancing, singing, fort-building, making cleaning up toys fun for the kids, reading, teaching the kids to help prepare their own food (age-appropriate tasks), playing at the park/in the backyard, writing stories, I could go on and on. Playing with kids is so rewarding and fun for me!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children on the spectrum, deaf children, kids with physical disabilities, kids with down syndrome. Most have been in the capacity of dance instruction but I have also babysat kids with special needs and am very comfortable as long as I know what the child is comfortable with and what the parents expect and are comfortable with. Clear communication is key!
