The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, dependable, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. Building trust with both the child and the family while maintaining strong communication is key to providing the best care possible.

While working with children at summer camp and through babysitting, I have supported children with different behavioral and developmental needs by practicing patience, positive reinforcement, and clear communication. Additionally, my mom is a special needs teacher, which has given me valuable insight into working with children who may need extra support. I am committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment for every child and adapting my approach to meet individual needs.

My favorite nanny moments are when I get to see a child grow more confident in themselves whether that’s mastering a new skill, finishing homework they were struggling with, or simply opening up and feeling comfortable.
