A little bit about me

I am an Argentine born college student with three years of paid child care experience under my belt and roughly 8 years of child care experience overall. I have worked with childern entering PK/K all the way up to 8th graders, and with kids with learning disabilities. I can cook, clean, help keep an eye on any furry friends, and keep the kids entertained while you are gone! I am currently a Journalism and Wildlife Double Major, meaning that I can help with homework from most subjects including math and english. I love helping kids learn and explore their interests and have a knack for art and fixing things around the home. I am fluent in both Spanish and English, making me a perfect fit for any multilingual household or any students that may be learning Spanish as well. I have my own transportation, references, and come prepared with plenty of creative activities (drawing, puzzles, activities, etc.) for the kids to have fun with.

I've worked at BASIS Independnet McLean as a summer counselor for two years, Camp Levine as an apprentice (unpaid), then a lead (unpaid), and then as a coordinator. Have also babysitted. Total: 3 years paid experience, 8 years experience overall.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to create art projects for the kids to enjoy! Whether it's drawing, painting, or just overall crafts, I find it really brings out the kiddos creative side!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure each child that is in my care is happy and safe. I always strive to care for each child in their own way, while making sure they are safe and loved while mom and dad are away!

My experience with special needs children...

Having been a coordinator, I handled medications and special needs children ranging from autism and adhd to hydrocephalus, asthma, and diabetes. I can handle anything you throw at me!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Reading books in the Penn State Arboretum with one of my long-term kids while their parents were at a game! They were so happy to be among the trees reading, and it was just a wholesome moment. One of many!
