More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Throughout my previous experience, I have had the opportunity to care for children of different ages while creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. My responsibilities included supervising children throughout the day, preparing healthy meals and snacks, organizing fun and educational activities, assisting with homework, helping with bedtime and daily routines, and ensuring they always felt supported and cared for. I also helped with light housekeeping, including tidying play areas, washing dishes, doing children’s laundry, and keeping the home organized. I believe in being patient, dependable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs while encouraging learning, creativity, and positive behavior. Building trusting relationships with both children and parents has always been important to me, and I take pride in providing reliable care that gives families peace of mind.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a variety of activities with children that encourage learning, creativity, and fun. Some of my favorite activities include reading books, arts and crafts, drawing and painting, building with blocks or puzzles, playing board games, and doing age-appropriate educational activities. I also enjoy spending time outdoors by going to the park, taking walks, playing sports, riding bikes, or organizing games that keep children active. I like baking simple treats together, listening to music, dancing, and helping children explore their creativity through imaginative play. Most importantly, I enjoy creating a positive, safe, and engaging environment where children feel happy, confident, and supported while having fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Everything else like activities, routines, discipline, even fun comes after that foundation. A good nanny is attentive, reliable, and able to anticipate risks before they happen, whether that’s physical safety like supervision, food allergies, or environment hazards or emotional safety like consistency, patience, and calm responses.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with special needs and understand the importance of providing patient, compassionate, and individualized care. I adapt to each child’s unique needs and routines, encourage their independence, and create a safe, supportive, and positive environment where they feel comfortable and included. I work closely with parents to follow care plans, maintain consistency, and ensure each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favourite nanny moments are always the little ones that happen unexpectedly. Whether it’s hearing “I missed you,” getting a big hug when I walk through the door, or seeing a child finally accomplish something they’ve been working on, those moments make this job so rewarding.
It’s not about the big outings or special occasions it's about being someone they trust, watching them grow, and knowing I’ve made a positive difference in their day. Those are the moments I’ll always remember.
