I started babysitting when I was 14 years old. At this job their mother would leave her 2 daughters with me all weekend. I have always been very responsible and reliable. Later when I was married, I took on a position as a Nanny/Housekeeper and cook. This was my favorite Nanny job. It was a good experience and the family was great.

Playing games, reading books to them, helping them with their homework and tutoring them.

I think I would have to say that children need supervision and they need someone they respect to discipline, etc. I believe that being needed by children is a special feeling.

I will always remember a girl I took care of named Tricia. She was 9 years old. One day as I was picking her up from school, she ran up to me - hugged me and said to me: "Pammy I love you so much!" She looked quite a bit like me and she could have easily passed as my daughter.
