More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I currently work full-time at Hopebridge as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). For the past 1 year and 8 months, I’ve provided 1:1 support for children ages 3–7 with autism in a clinic setting. My experience includes building positive routines, structured play and learning activities, safety supervision, communication support, and helping children through transitions using positive reinforcement. I collaborate with clinical supervisors and follow individualized programs. References available upon request.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids engaged through fun, active play! I enjoy imaginative games, dancing and singing (music & movement), arts and crafts, simple sensory activities, puzzles/blocks, and story time. Outdoors, I like playground time, walks, bubbles, and active games. I always focus on safe, age-appropriate fun and positive routines.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is building trust and making children feel safe, loved, and understood.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related needs, including ADHD, hearing loss (hard of hearing), and nonverbal communication (including AAC when applicable). I’m comfortable supporting children through big emotions/meltdowns with calm, positive strategies, and I have experience with toileting routines and daily living skills. As an RBT, I follow individualized plans, focus on safety first, and use positive reinforcement to build confidence, communication, and smoother routines.
Important note: I work full-time as an RBT, but through NannyLane I’m applying strictly as a nanny/babysitter. I’m not offering ABA/therapy services in this role, since clinical services must be provided under the appropriate supervision/authorization and within a formal provider setting. I’m happy to follow your family’s routines and any guidance you already have from your child’s licensed providers.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments is when kids and I make up silly little dances and “choreographies” together — we’ll put on music, do funny moves, laugh, and celebrate their creativity. Those playful, silly moments are the best because they help kids feel confident, connected, and truly happy.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Louisville, KY: Madison S.
I am patient, calm, kind, trustworthy, and reliable. I am good to go with the flow, while also sticking to a schedule. I love working with children and getting to build a bond with them. I have worked with children babysitting three at at a time, making them meals, cleaning up the house, organizing, etc. These kids have been a variety of age ranges, and I have learned ways to connect with them all. I love playing with them indoors and out. At my previous job I had to make sure the kids were safe while playing on bounce houses, and I had to clean up for them or help them with a variety of needs. I love doing crafts, playing games, and finding new ways to entertain the kids that is fun and creative.
