I have experience taking care of my younger siblings, who are between 4 and 7 years old. I help supervise them, play with them, prepare simple snacks, and make sure they are safe and well looked after. I am responsible, patient, and good with kids.I also took care of my 8 month old cousin for a day , so I am comfortable with an infant.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like doing arts and crafts such as drawing, colouring, painting, and making simple DIY projects. I can also help kids build things with blocks or LEGO and do puzzles with them. For active play, I can play outside games like tag, hide and seek, sidewalk chalk, or simple sports like soccer or catch. If we stay inside, I can do dancing games, board games, or storytelling. I can also help with learning activities like reading books, practicing letters and numbers, or simple homework help.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of this job is making sure the children are safe at all times. I also need to be responsible, patient, and follow the parents’ instructions. My goal is to keep the kids happy, engaged, and well cared for while they are in my care.
